This sweet belted dress was sent over to me by the lovely people of Dolce Vita from their DV by Dolce Vita holiday collection and the timing couldn't be more perfect. The demure, ladylike silhouette is just right for next week's Thanksgiving festivities, and the sheer versatility of a lacy white dress makes it easy to wear over and over right into the holiday season. As for myself, I'll be styling it with a pair of black flats and a loose blazer for the first round of turkey dinners -- and then reaching for pumps like these with some chandelier earrings when all the merry festivities start rolling around.

In other news -- as I was (somewhat foolishly) entrusted with coming up with a dessert for one of next week's functions, I patrolled the internet vigilantly and found this amazing vegan pumpkin cheesecake recipe. Here's to a healthy, meatless Turkey Day! -- and I say that with only a trace of irony.
